Vanaf de eerste klanken van hun set duiken zij de diepte in en laten lichtvoetig referenties aan Fats Waller, Ben Wenster, Duke Ellington, Don Dyas, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Cecil Taylor, Archie Shepp en Misha Mengelberg passeren. Ook eigen thema’s worden situationeel ingezet.
